Shollenberger again--with teleconverter : This time, my picture settings are all LOW, including noise reduction. I'm using 3EZ + Ricoh TC-200M. Manual mode, histogram leaning to the right, mostly. Water is definitely not as noisy!

Shollenberger Park, Petaluma FZ30 First Shots : These represent my best first efforts with my new cam. Settings are all set to standard--I learned too late that noise is reduced with all settings to low. I will try that today! Most of these were shot in manual mode--with exposure a bit too low--thus even more noise than necessary. I'm learning . . .

Las Gallinas Ponds with John and Sharon : I THOUGHT my settings were on low, but you have to double-check when you make a change, as I learned the hard way. I used the Ricoh TC-200M on all of these shots--and all were set on 3MBEZ. I cropped a little and sharpened a little, but that's about it for PP. I am still learning . . .
